About us
The Association was founded in 1963. Its purpose is to help to preserve and improve the amenities and character of Cleaver Square, Cleaver Street and Bowden Street, and to foster a general sense of community and neighbourliness within the area.
All those who live in Cleaver Square, Cleaver Street and Bowden Street automatically become members. There is no annual membership charge. We have a committee of around 9-14 residents who meet around three times a year, and our AGM is held annually in November.Â
Current committee members are:
Ursula Ovenden, Edward Hutchison, K Newman, Penny Ritchie Calder (chair), Simona Springer, Mike Tyler, Mark Wallace, Sue Codrington, Owen Meredith (treasurer), Polly Hutchison (secretary), Paul Graville.Â
